Meet the Development Team of Restoration Capital
Larry founded Restoration Capital in 2007 and serves as its Executive Managing Director. Larry and the Restoration Capital team have been successful in acquiring some of the most sought-after real estate projects in our area, and developing them into upscale quality condominium homes for its customers. Their most recent acquisitions include, The Village at Canter Brook Farm, a 55+ Town Home Community, Hatters Point Condominiums, The Village at Magnolia Shores and The Village at West Gloucester.
Prior to establishing Restoration Capital, Larry independently originated real estate transactions for firms such as Fortress Investments (Joint Venture Partner), Silver Point Capital and CIT Commercial Credit. He brings to Restoration Capital his extensive experience and knowledge of all facets of real estate transactions including the placement of equity, mezzanine debt, secured first lien debt, warehouse facilities and asset based loans.
Larry is the former CEO/President and Founder of Finagle A Bagel, a bakery wholesaler and retailer based in Boston, MA. He is also the former CEO and Founder of London Taxis North America, the exclusive distributor of London Taxi vehicles in the United States and Canada. In addition, Larry held various manufacturing and financial management positions within the Aircraft Engine Division of the General Electric Company for eight years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island, is a graduate of the General Electric Company's Manufacturing Management Program, and has studied for an M.B.A. at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
In his personal time, Larry enjoys boating, skiing, running, biking and spending quality time with family and friends.
Tom manages all construction-related activities for the real estate developments. Specifically, he oversees key development activities such as the initial conceptual designs, design implementation, budgeting, site work, infrastructure improvements and subcontractor management. Tom is also responsible for the day-to-day management of the site superintendents and construction support staff at each real estate development and serves as the primary liaison with government agencies.
For the past 17 years, Tom has constructed high-quality condominiums and single family homes throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire's Construction Management and Studio Art Programs, and has held a State of Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction License since 2009. Tom's extensive experience and skills in the disciplines of Building Science, Design, and Project Management together with his commitment to quality ensure excellence is attained for the new homeowners and projects he serves.
Tom resides in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire with his wife and two daughters.
Julia brings more than 16 years of experience in accounting, finance and human resources, and utilizes the same disciplines to successfully manage all financial aspects of the company. She also serves as the liaison to the Home Owners Associations for the various real estate developments.
Julia is proficient in the management of all aspects of accounting and finance including, but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and cash-flow management. She also has extensive experience in the implementation and oversight of prudent internal controls and procedures. Her experience benefits both our accounting and human resources departments, and ensures excellence in the preparation of financial statements, generation and analysis of internal reports, product costing, variance analysis, inventory systems, asset tracking, and cash flow management. Julia prides herself on her dedication to the quality of reporting, data systems and customer service.
Julia is a graduate of the Arizona State University School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. When she isn’t working, Julia enjoys spending time with family and fishing in the waters off Cape Ann.
As our lead architect for The Village at Canter Brook Farms, Ken has provided invaluable leadership from design concepts, through town approvals, and construction documents development. Strong design oversight continues during the construction process, adapting to any fluid site conditions that may arise. By working closely with all team members, he is able both to navigate the demands of pragmatic requirements and weave them into a comprehensive architectural design. At the end of each project, he leads the effort to provide stamped condominium documentation filed with the registry of deeds which completes the project life.
Ken Feyl, AIA, NCARB of JD LaGrasse & Associates has over 30 years of commercial and multifamily residential architectural experience. With a portfolio that includes projects ranging geographically from NH to LA, Ken has developed a reputation for a uniquely skilled leadership approach which drives value for clients. Ken’s deep domain expertise, business savvy, strategic and creative thinking, and direct professional style together forge effective team building. Strong project teams combined with Ken’s personal, hands-on problem solving result in successful outcomes for clients.
Ken recognizes the iterative process inherent in architecture projects; he applies his broad industry experience to marry the craft of design with construction dynamics. He provides a comprehensive design service which is an essential foundation for a well-planned project. The end result – a well-built, high-quality project — satisfies the multiple goals of developer, construction manager, and the final end user – the residents!
Ken has an exceptional track record of outstanding results in diverse settings throughout his long architectural career. In 2009, Ken was individually awarded the Gilbane Construction Company’s Excellence Award for demonstrating the core values of: Integrity, Tough-mindedness, Teamwork, Dedication to Excellence, Loyalty and Discipline. Ken is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects. He holds an NCARB Certificate allowing reciprocal architectural licensure throughout all 50 United States. He graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Masters of Architecture degree.
Mary Beth's key role for The Village at Canter Brook Farm is to bring her extensive design experience to the project team. With the customer's preferences a top priority, her primary function as the team interior designer is to collaborate and create dynamic interiors reflecting a coastal community lifestyle. Most importantly, Mary Beth brings her expertise in designing and coordinating the interiors and furnishing selections for the model homes, offering new homeowners the opportunity to see a home furnished, giving them the ability to imagine their own furnishings in the space. Mary Beth's philosophy on the collaborative design process allows the development team to offer prospective homeowners an enjoyable and unique experience at Hatters Point and The Village at Magnolia Shores.
Mary Beth Haggerty embarked on a career in Interior Design in retail after working as a designer in the Men's Fashion industry for 5 years. With an undergrad in Fashion Marketing and Design from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, transitioning into home interiors seemed natural. Founded in 1997 by Mary Beth Haggerty, The Drawing Room Interior Design specializes in residential design and interior merchandising for the residential, multi-family, 50 Plus and commercial markets. The goal is to design interiors, model homes, sales centers and corporate interiors that appeal to the target market's desired lifestyle, while collaborating with homeowners, development and property management teams. With 24 years' experience in residential and commercial design and merchandising, The Drawing room offers a full scope of interior design services for the savvy homeowners and commercial property professionals who are educated in trends, quality and investment opportunities. Mary Beth is working on her MFA in Interior Design Endicott College, Beverly, MA and is a Past President of ASID New England Chapter 2012-2013, Chapter Support Team 2012-2015 for ASID National.
Mary Beth currently resides in Newbury, MA with her husband and family.
Allyson and her team from Guaranteed Rate serve as the preferred lender for The Village at Canter Brook Farm. Guaranteed Rate is now and has been the largest purchase lender in Massachusetts for the past three years. The firm is based in Wakefield, MA, and specializes in providing competitive new construction end-loan financing options for its customers.
Personally, Allyson has over 15 years of experience as a mortgage lending professional in the Boston area. She is one of the highest producing female loan officers in the country, and has previously funded over $120 million in loans in 2016. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Allyson’s specialty is new construction lending, and she has in-depth knowledge of the entire process including secondary market condominium guidelines and extended rate lock options. Her mission is to ensure the financing needs of all buyers are met by providing the highest level of service and the lowest possible rates and costs.
Allyson and her team provide the education and guidance each buyer needs, and walk them step-by-step through the lending process from loan application through to loan closing. Whether it is questions on the fulfillment of lender documentation requests, the underwriting process or even the appraisal, Allyson and her team are there to support our buyers throughout the entire process.
